By means of Selective Catalytic Reaction (SCR), several harmful and toxic matters can be eliminated. In addition, the SCR technology is superior to other processes from both an environmental and economic standpoint.

In detail:

• Highest degrees of NOx removal (>95%) with minimal NH3 slip (<5 mg/m3 (i.N.))
• Removal of dioxin and furan by oxidation
• Removal of other pollutants, such as polycyclic hydrocarbons (TOC), by oxidation
• NH3 deriving from the raw material and often found in the raw gas is used for the NOx reduction in the catalyst, thus reducing the amount of injected ammonia.
