This PC 303 sampler is designed to collect hot meal from underneath the last stage of cyclones of the precalciner.

As a sampling equipment, it is composed of a sampling head made in refractory steel, a driving jack, a sampling chamber closing device, several compressed air ports used to clean the sampling head and a collecting hopper.

A quenching system composed of a screw conveyor (length: 800 mm) and a cooling fan with a silencer is associated to the sampler.
